The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re strengthening state protection of judges

The bill (Reg. No. 2505) suggests broadening list of persons that come under specialized measures of protection, namely, except judges and law enforcement personnel, their “family members” and all court personnel, their close relatives and family members fall under this category.

The Committee members deem the adoption of the bill will secure independence and personal security of judges in connection of conducted by them process of justice.
